Waterlungs: Decontamination of Water Bodies

The contamination of the rivers

The Amazon region, especially in Peru, in the so-called “basins”, is known as the Sacred Basins of the Amazon, for having the greatest biodiversity on the planet. Its richness in the plant kingdom as well as in the animal kingdom makes these basins very important for all humanity. Its wealth extends thousands of kilometers in the virgin jungle of the Amazon.

This natural wealth has been interrupted and has been deteriorating for many years. Its rivers and lagoons are disturbed and show signs of the cruel contamination of its waters, the dead and plastic fish of all forms floating accompany the flow of its currents, often with cloudy, black or colored waters. The constant threat of oil installations and the continuous destruction due to the search for more rich oil wells to continue with the exploitation not only of oil but also of mining such as gold or precious stones, leave enormous traces of destruction.

Large extensions of land, populated with various types of wood and plants of all species are transformed into plantations of extensive hectares of plants for the drug industry such as cocaine and others that are required for the production of benzine such as “RAPS”:

To aggravate the situation, the industries release their sewage with many chemical elements into the waters that feed the different rivers of the Amazon, such as the Amazon River, Ucayali, Maranon and others.

Unfortunately, there is no sewage treatment, on the contrary, the indiscriminate use of aggressive chemicals, agrochemicals, which leads to the deterioration of river basins due to human activities, predominates in the agricultural industry and others.

Water contamination in the Amazon is highly relevant, since more than 90% of homes do not have basic sanitation or wastewater treatment facilities, and the surrounding populations also dump tons of solid and liquid waste directly into the rivers. . In conclusion, the groundwater of the Amazon basin region, widely used as drinking water and for other purposes by the inhabitants, is contaminated with “excessively high concentrations of arsenic, aluminum and manganese.” The environmental management of cities always faces an obvious problem. The accumulation of domestic garbage in certain points of medium-sized cities such as the city of Iquitos, shows evidence in its streets, there are piles of garbage as well as on the banks of rivers.

Waterlungs Projects

We plan this project jointly with other companies that work in the protection of nature, who use modern techniques and methods. These companies are private companies that use state and private capital.

It is about detoxifying and decontaminating the waters of rivers and lakes, promoting clean waters for fish and biodiversity.
Garbage recycling machines are used, which are installed near the riverside towns to use the garbage of the cities, the garbage accumulated on the banks of the rivers, as raw material.
The facilities are equipped with modern technology, environmentalists capable of recycling and transforming waste of all kinds of garbage and decomposing material into:
– Electric power
– Thermal energy
– Drinking water for the surrounding communities and towns.
During the process no CO2 is produced
